I was excited to get my hands on a copy of Citizen Marketers: When People Are the Message. I’m teaching a class on marketing and technology at Drexel University’s Graduate Program in Arts Administration starting in January, and social media will be an important part. The authors were kind enough to send me a review copy so I could see if it should be included in the curriculum. I had seen the first couple of chapters as a “citizen reader” in the last stages of their editing process, so I had an inkling it would be a great resource for the class.
I hope to post a review, but in the meantime, you can sample the book and get some swag. Authors Ben McConnell and Jackie Huba are celebrating the launch of the book on their Church of the Customer blog with a free iron-on patch with an amazon or 800ceoread order, an excerpt from the book at Brandweek, and free books from the MarketingProfs. You like free, right?
